My will to leave !
Hello everyone ! My name is Emma. I'm a french student of 16 years old. I currently live in Tours, a city in the southeast of Paris, in France. I write in english (but you can traduce it) because this summer, I'm going to leave for an extraordinary experience in the United States, in Texas thanks to the Rotary.
What is the Rotary ? This is an international club which has a social and humanitarian role.In my case, the Rotary permits me to live this school exchange. I know that it is a huge chance that I have and I could never thank enough the Rotary.When I have heard about this exchange, I totally agreed to leave. I've never been in USA and I want to speak english fluently so it was the perfect occasion. My grandfather was a part of a a Rotary Club and my grandmother told me about the exchange. I have started the approach one year ago, in the 2013's spring. It's really long and complicated because we have to find a sponsor (a member of a Rotary club), we have to fill in a big form with lots of documents about you, your family ... I have finished it in january this year.We have had several meetings with students who are leaving and foreign students who are in France. These meetings are really cool because we meet new people, we make us friends ...
Few people know their exact destination and most of us still wait to know.Me, I only know that I'm going to Texas. I don't know the city or the district (sort of region) where I will go.I am so much in a hurry to know! I look all the time at my e-mails ...I hope that my next article will announce you my destination.
