I experienced my first and crazy 4th of July!!
I helped in the 4th of July parade by being on the Rotary Club truck and waved at people!
All the fireworks were crazy!!! My family does a lot of fireworks and blows up a watermelon every year and we did it too this year. I've never done fireworks and I really enjoyed doing it yesterday ;)
Arsonist ... ahahah
I also invited some friends over.
The Story Of My Texan Life

A Day At The Lake
06/27/15
I went to a lake in Cleburne with Melissa, my Rotary counselor and her family. That was so fun! We were on her dad's boat and I tried water skiing, kneeboarding, and had a lot of fun on the tube!! The sun was bright and the weather hot and perfect!! Water skiing is really hard and I almost succeeded but I did good at kneeboarding.

A Nice Movie Night
06/24/15
I've always wanted to go to a drive-in theater but never went there. That night I had a movie night outside! Not in the bed of a truck but on blankets ;) That was a kid movie but it was fun and I was with my friends so I didn't actually care.

My Trip On The West Coast
06/09/15 --> 06/22/15
I went on a bus trip on the West coast of the US during 2 weeks with the Rotary Club!! That was one of the most amazing trip I've even done! We were 52 exchange students from all over the world that lived in the US for a year. I made so many new friends and very close friends! So many people I can't wait to see again, very important people to me <3
We started our trip in Vegas where we saw the Blue Man Show. They actually chose me to come on stage with them and take part in the show! That was an amazing time ;) They are actually really scary and when they arrived close to me to take my hand, I was so freaked out! They also took a selfie with me on stage and gave it to me! Great souvenir.
After Vegas, we drove all the way to Arizona to see the Grand Canyon! That's an amazing and huge place! We always see a lot of pictures but it's way more impressive in real. The sun set over the Grand Canyon is so pretty!

Then it was time for a very long drive to San Diego, California. I was a little bit disappointed by San Diego but Coronado Island was a lot of fun!
The next stop was Santa Monica, California! That beach was so pretty and cool! It's really famous and I saw it before in movies or in Hannah Montana lol But that was way better to be there.
Then I got crazy at Universal Studios! I love minions and unicorns and they were EVERYWHERE!!! ;) ahah that was so much fun. Even if I'm really scared in roller coasters, we did a few and that was actually fun even if my heart stopped all the time lol
Then we went to famous Hollywood! I expected something bigger and more impressive but it was more like a normal street with stars on the ground... But that was still fun!
Wow, Yosemite National Park was so pretty! Those huge trees and big waterfalls... Very relaxing place and so pretty! We climbed to the top of a waterfall and wanted to swim but the water was so so cold!!
And then we finished our wonderful trip in my favorite place of this trip, in San Francisco, California.
It was around 70 degrees there and when you live in Texas and it's 100 degrees during the Summer, 70 degrees feels really cold! But I loved that city! First thing we saw was a naked guy walking in the street.... Mhmm yes everything is normal lmao!!
We saw China Town where we had a good Chinese dinner. We took a boat to go under the Golden Gate Bridge and to see Alcatraz. That's sad that we didn't get to visit it but that was still cool from outside!
Lombard street was neat to visit! This famous street full of flowers and really hard to walk on was pretty!
The Peer 39 was a lot of fun! We also had dinner at Bubba Gump! The famous restaurant inspired by the movie Forest Gump.
And the next day it was time to go back to Texas! A sad time since I had to say bye to a bunch of good friends and to my Brazilian best friend. I got so close to some amazing people and I'll see them as soon as I can, in their country or in France! I really hope I'll be able to go to Brazil soon to see my friends and Rico my bff...
